The markets we are selling to. Torreira is linked to second tier Serie A clubs, Guendouzi is linked to big money clubs like Barca and PSG.

That video was taken in a nightclub abroad yesterday. There's another photo of him being tagged in it by one of his mates saying (to paraphrase) "We know you have the money @Arsenal. You know it makes sense. Come get your man".

I think he really facked himself over signing that 5-year deal with Palace in the back end of 2018.

There should have been some sort of stipulation that required a release clause or something.

This move is not going to happen now IMO.

I can't blame Zaha for signing that contract tbh. He probably secured his future with the money. As for a clause, he probably did but we weren't a CL club last season so I doubt Palace would have agreed to anything lower. We made our big money winger buy last season and I don't think Arteta rates Zaha much. Arteta seems to be targeting highly technical players who are successful under pressure. I think he recognises our lack of character at times.

Yeah he is an Arsenal fan, he's admitted it a few times in some interviews/Q&As.

Either way, that in itself isn't enough for us to make a move for him.

As if Palace would sell to a direct rival

Plus with all the bad blood between Arteta and Roy... Zaha to Arsenal is never gonna happen now.

Most likely - but he won't get the move he so desperately craves.

Realistically, he'll either have to look abroad or go to somewhere like Everton.

Unfortunately I think Zaha wanted to 'do right' by Palace, and ultimately they've perhaps not returned the compliment.

It's a shame, as it's always nice to have fans of the club playing for the club.

But at least we've got Willock, Nelson, Saka, and AMN fulfilling that role for us now

I thought you were suggesting that they'd rip up his contract or try to 'cancel' it by paying it off (like we're trying with Ozil apparently). If that's what you meant, it wouldn't make sense for them to do that. If it's not what you meant, then never mind.

Why would we stupid enough to offer Palace a younger, more decorated player, in exchange for Zaha?
