vertonghen is wonderful. i love the way he also drifts past players when he gets forward, and his slide tackle should be 99 on fifa

livermore was a total liability giving the ball away all the time

Disagree with a lot of your ratings. Lloris was fine, nothing he could do on the first goal and he had to come out for the second.

Walker and defoe get 3s for costing us the game. We were in complete control when walker gifted them an equaliser.

I also thought Livermore 4 and siggy 5 were poor.

Lloris - 7 Cant be blamed for any of the goals.

What are you talking about

Actually Lloris can take part of the blame for both goals...

Beaten at the near post (and completely out of position) for the first and dealt badly with a ridiculous back pass for the second...

Lloris has been good for us, but today he was poor, lets not make him immune from criticism

well livermore showed to me and us all once again why he shouldn't be at the club. not once did he ever look forward, just square balls/misplace balls/being caught in possesion.

sandros right foot - BAE a 7?!?! really!? please tell me what he did right today because barring the peno he was still absolutely useless. hoof hoof. not looking up to find a pass. hoof. poor attacking.

I don't blame lloris for the 1st, Suarez put it right in the corner which was the only place he could possibly put it without lloris saving it

PS Spot on with the rating again Analog...

Seems you're finally getting good at this

No, Livermore isn't going to be a first teamer for years, but for somebody starting their first game since September, he came in and did a reasonable job. Decent passing, excellent in the air, and made a couple of good tackles

I really don't see what Lloris did wrong. The first was an excellent finish. Suarez was 8 yards out and a superb player, can't blame Hugo.

The second was solely walker's fault. Lloris had to come and got unlucky.

What corner?! It was at the near post which Lloris should have had covered...

I don't really get how you can give Livermore any decent kind of rating on that performance. If they made a video of his every touch, I guarantee they would all be him receiving it in a good position, panicking and passing square or backwards. Either that or just lumping it somewhere and gifting possession back. I once had high hopes that he could be a decent CM, but on today's performance, I don't want to see him play again. I'd have preferred Hudd or stick Holtby out wide and keep Moussa in the middle.

From the angle the ball was played and lloris was running at the first thought is to narrow the angle but Suarez was clever and hit it instantly. Had lloris not ran out towards him and gone to the near post he'd have given Suarez a bigger target to aim at. Just a quality finish

It was a good finish but no keeper should be beaten at near post. And, on Livermore, maybe my rating reflects the standards I have of him, I know his limitations

Keeper's first job should be to guard his near post and make the striker have to go the more difficult route...

Great finish but Lloris made it easy for him IMO

suarez was about 3 yards out lol.

how can lloris be blamed for the first goal!!!!?

the second one i could understand you blaming him, even though it was walkers joke of a back pass

Exactly my thoughts chronic,

No keeper in the world would have anticipated Suarez hitting it so early, most would have aimed at the far post, taken a touch before being closed down or try to chip it over him. That was just the hallmark of a quality striker
