Shankly would love Suarez... as would you lot if he played for you.

For years defenders have down the kicking, nipping, pulling and pushing, yet it's all part of the game. It seems when strikers do it, they get all sorts thrown at them.

I used to do it to players, kick them on the ankles, annoy them, either to make them afraid or to make them react, giving the team an advantage.

Once I got a punch in the face for my troubles by a little small guy. The ref missed it, so I got punched and didn't get an advantage. I stood in shock whilst he jogged off. Then I started laughing, thought it was hilarious. The whole game he tried to avoid me, knowing I was going to clatter him, so every time he got the ball, I charged after him and he kept getting rid of it, making mistakes.

Can't remember Barnes, Rush, McMahon, ect diving and cheating to win games
