Spread the word on 606. In fact I task you all: use up your quota of 606 articles for the day advertising these forums.

tip... you can use firebug on 606 to spam on every single board with just 1 article. although the moderators usually remove it. so there are upsides and downsides.

There was a DoS attack (Wiki it) the day that BBC606 closed, that took this down from that Tuesday until the Saturday. The JA606 people say it is in the hands of the Police

Rumours abound that the people at another site, set up to replace 606,, are invloved, but I am NOT going to mention any names

The closing of BBC606 caused a "huge hole" in the sport thread world

Police say "they are looking into it" but havn't bottomed it out yet

I thought it may be something like that. Gave up trying to get in for a while, and just tried on the off chance today. Glad to see it is back up and hope to be on line a bit more.
