I wonder if Admin could run off a report of the amount of times Liverpool fans have referred to trophies they won years ago?
It's getting embarrassing now... Every. Single Day. "Yeah, but we won the CL years ago, that means we're still a big club despite finishing midtable every year" Yawwn....

£88m for two League Cups .

You must admit they do look nice.
Am I the only person who thinks it's an interesting comparison?

You're the only non Liverpool or Chelsea fan on here. So yes, it is interesting
I thought LFC fans were all about the NET SPEND. It was the way they justified Rafa's massive spending and declining form.
He spent £20m on Aquilani, £18m on Johnson , and you dropped from 2nd to 7th....oh how people used to laugh at that great business!! only to be pulled up by 'pool fans banging on about net spend.
Now, when suddenly Spurs Net spend is zero or better and their results are better than LFC who are all spend spend spend, suddenly Net Spend is irrelevant....typical!
LFC fans love to spin it this way and every way, whatever suits.
One said earlier that if you account for 1 years wages saved and a loan fee + £15m transfer, the deal for carroll is excellent
fact is, Spurs lost 3 of their top performers and had to replace them. If we had not spent the plentiful money we received our squad would have been about 17 men strong. 3 direct replacements , Siggy replacing Kranjcar, a new keeper & holtby is the Jan window.
£88m for two League Cups

Again, >150m for ONE league cup, 4 years below Spurs and 2 years running you've finished below Everton.
Massive club, Liverpool

Funny that because Liverpools NET spending in the last 2 seasons has been £75m and they have achieved 1 Carling Cup and a best league position of 7th.
i'd say £88m and 2 cups and 5th or better in the league is superior!
(ooooh look, we can twists stats to our own effect too. how clever!)

Look at all the players you have brought in over the last 4 years. I 100000000% guarentee it will exceed 150m.
