Kroos and Bale were quite good predictions, looking at the top 50 of players with the highest potential, considering how young/unknown they were at the time.
di Santo went to 87
Coutinho: 56-->87, you feel that is spot on at current rate. Impressive
Mata is spot on as well.
Remember Cherno Samba in FM? Could be as good as brazil Ronaldo, failed to make it at Millwall...
There was that Liverpool goalkeeper who Rafa described as the best in the world for his age. On FM 10he became one of the greats, warms the bench for Oldham now...
Bojan was rated quite highly back then weren't he?
Hamsik
Jovetic
even though they overrated them, they predicted they'd become very good players
I remember some DM who played in the Brazilian league called Acuna who had high potential on fifa 07, god knows where he is now
I miss the youth system on PS2 tho, it was so simple.
Season 1 play them in the cc, season 2 play them in the cc, fac and about 8-10 times in the league, season 3 loan them out, season 4 they come back rated in the mid 80's and you go from there.
By season 7 you have a squad full of academy players
Sure there was a Brazilian DM in the Brazil squad called Arouca or something recently!
Bojan can still make it
thats the one
He was so good on Fifa07, could score from anywhere.

Santos. High 70's I think.
Sorry, Arouca not Acuna, because that was who you meant Kings...
I wouldn't completely write off Vela and Gio. Some players take a bit more to reach the peak of their game, and poor career decisions along the way can stall their progress too.
Ok, they haven't made the big time, but Vela just had a blinder of a season and was instrumental in R. Sociedad qualifying for the CL playoff, while it looks as if Gio might be heading for someone in the Atlético/Sevilla bracket. Mallorca were relegated alright, but he and Hemed were far and away their best attacking players this year.
Which FIFA was it where you could manually allocate experience points to a players attribute i.e. Sprint Speed?
That was hilarious, so easy to create a superman-esque player!
