How will the team manage

You seem a bit jaundiced before the season has begun Bill.

It's interesting Gary Waddock has been made Head of Coaching, does that mean Robbo will concentrate on management and what has happened to our Chief Scout?

It's also good that we are giving the younger players more responsibility and will Bamford be back and will we get a winger who can dribble, duck & dive?

Sadly I would have preferred to have the news that Chicko had signed more than Lewie. I suspect that we are going to lose another player, and one that we would miss very much this season. He will not want to play second fiddle, and is not really a winger as Robbo gives him game time while Lewie is on the pitch

Furz, Not at all, I think it is great news they have both gone, as I have been pushing for it since Christmas.

I just hope Gary can be more help to Robbo, than they were.

Moocamp, I agree Chicko would have been a more preferred signing, but unless people are queing up waiting to sign him, I think he might just puit pen to paper for another season

A striker who can shoot on sight is a desperatly needed signing

Well written article Bill... makes a change from reading about Wolves.

Sorry Bill you said "Who will pick up the first slipping on a book type injury" - more like who will pick up our first booking of the season followed by a red card.

If history of last year repeats itself, by the end of the first couple of games we could have one or two suspended players making the squad even more threadbare

Thought Wright was a great signing when it was announced, he was a great goal scorer, a natural finisher.
I was hoping he would pass on his knowledge to our strikers, but alas no they were all useless.
Cant see what he brought to the party, and clearly his punditry is more important to him than coaching, however he is still likely to be at the odd game at Stadium MK.
