...and that is wrong. It is well known that United came in at the point when Arsenal had a real interest in Mhiki. That broke up immediately when United offered 6M EUR netto for Mhiki when he would sign a contract.
It's a bit of a micky take that Rovers can go roughly toe to toe with Utd but get pasted week in and out by Championship sides.

A Welsh team won the English League Cup just a couple of years ago.
It's the last bit of effort they'll give all season, then the team will go down without a wimper and they'll be released due to their high wages. Then, they're free to join a new club with a hefty signing on fee.
