Seems like we'll top the group again, with some to spare, raise expectations, then flop out limply in the group stage, not that our multi millionaire players will care.

Qualification will be easy. We're already qualified as far as I'm concerned.

Southgate needs to give England a formation and stick with it for the rest of the games, and fit players to suit the formation. The 3-4-2-1 worked pretty well against Germany and he should carry that on with the 2 top teams in the league playing that way (one full of England players already).

If he can do that then we'll have made progress on the last tournament.

Great win for us in Montenegro last night. Lewandowski has now scored in 10 consecutive European qualifiers - surely that's a record?

A good win for the U-21 English lads tonight.

And a good weekend of football coming up - including the Merseyside derby, City v Arsenal, PSG v Monaco in a cup final, Benfica v Porto and the usual array of Spanish, German and Dutch stuff.
