With the right striking technic hazard could have scored. Only caants who have not played footy say otherwise.

When to strike a ball you need to lean forward and not backwards and with your inside foot you can place the ball better.

This take practise to do and if Messi had that chance he would have scored.

People started getting a bit tongue in cheek lastnight, but besides if you thought it was a good chance or just a chance hazard should have atleast hit the target. Like I said, i'd expect myself to score in that position. He could have even brought it down with a touch, would have been away from any barca players and then put it in. But life goes on.
