its a game of football. Chelsea are cheats by default

Alonso is class at free kicks

Tiiiitty, yeah there’s an element of that. He’s lost a yard and put on weight so doesn’t have that acceleration to take players on like he used to. Doesn’s seem as skillful when he has the ball. He’s regressed in this aspect for me. Still a great striker.

There is competition and competition though.

City are winning the league easily but the 4 teams behind them all made the last 16, so they are not average teams in European terms, they are very good teams. Arsenal look set for the last 8 of the Europa.

Dortmund may well get knocked out tomorrow so Germany could have only Bayern in the last 8 of either, although RBL have a fair chance to qualify.

Barca have Real, Atletico and Sevilla who are clearly all good teams, plus a resurgent Valencia.

Bayern will go all season domestically without having a game against a side near the level they will meet in the CL, and that’s a problem for them.

Dembele is still quite raw. Not always clean with the ball, but really took his goal well to showcase his talent and confidence

Italian teams are shiiiiiit in Europe and that hasn’t stopped Juve doing well in it.

Been a good game both teams playing some good stuff

Well I'm glad we're not making a spectacle of ourselves. Like Utd. So that's nice.

big mistakes in both games have cost them

Chelsea have probably had the best chances so far over the two games

Need to score an early goal to have a bit of hope.

Would love an English team to play a Barca team minus Messi
