Let's be completely honest. We should have won it in the first half when we were well on top. We basically gave them the initiative in the second by sitting back and we never created anything - NOTHING. And people should put their club loyalties aside - we cannot get anywhere playing a midfield three of Henderson, Lingard and Alli. How both Lingard and Alli were both on the pitch at the end I will never understand - they are too lightweight and have done very little all tournament.

Having said that, we are semi-finalists. Well done but ultimately not good enough.

Complete mismatch having a midfield of Henderson, Alli and Lingard against Modric, Rakitic and Brozovic. Once Croatia got a foothold we didn't really look like troubling them

I agree, England just seem to drop right off, when they lead 1-0, instead of going for the kill. Not sure if Southgate is giving them instructions to just defend. England cannot really complain though, they were completely outclassed by the finish.

Shut it. You’re only saying that because it was Spurs players who cost us the game. If it was a Liverpool player who’d been as shiite as Kane, or gifted Croatia their winner, you’d have had an article up by now.

No they didn't, pretty poor over all. Jumped on easy goals, other than that didn't really do anything. Helped a lot by the officials as well half the team should have been booked before half time
