Really stepped up this World Cup. If I remember well Ronaldo only won 2 Laliga titles in his time in Madrid.

France was by far the most talented team, fullbacks such as Sidibe and the city fella couldn’t even get a game. Wingers such as dembele and Lemar barely got a kick.

Them and Belgium should look forward to the next Euros with glee

France may have been abysmal today but they were miles better than Belgium in the semis. Should have won that game by 3 goals minimum.

Hope Deschamps resigns after this and Wenger takes over France for the Euros.

France have a younger team than us...and are so much better....we should be looking to replicate the semis in the next Euros now..as a minimum

There really isn't much more to add when all you can say about the starting striker on a World Cup winning side is that he "does a job" or "does stuff most people can't see."

I don't think he will, I just hope he does. It would be a good way to silence all his critics.

Only the 3rd teenager to even play in a World Cup Final.

Only the 2nd teenager, and first since 1958, to score in a World Cup Final.

Deschamps has reached 2 tournament finals and won the World Cup, which should keep him in a job, but I honestly believe France are selling themselves short sticking with him. When you have the attacking talent that France do, your primary impulse shouldn't be containment. The way they played in that first half was a disgrace.
