If we draw or lose to Chelsea next week that's top 4 gone but even if we win think it may be difficult considering our away form has gone awful! this could be similar to how things went last season.

Ashley spent loads of cash.
They had big debts when he took over that he cleared. Just because he didn't invest like Abramovic doesn't make him a bad owner. He just made crap decisions but he put the money in. Don't blame him for stopping putting money in when their fans just abuse him all the time.

Our stadium was already built when Kroenke took over, the club paid for it ourselves. Apart from buying shares Kroenke hasn't put a penny in the club. Ashley must have put 300-400m in. 50m he spent was his own money, the 100m they earned went to the club

He doesn’t need to put money in. He needs to let them spend the revenues they make. He’s the worst owner jn the league.
Newcastle have got to take chances like that.
Ashley spent something around £150m initially just to pay the Newcastle debt.
Has he been paying himself back through club profits (and then some) rather than making just a profit through selling the club?
