United have to make money. City's owners don't care about profits. They will never make a profit on their investment. That's the difference

The apathy towards city is helped because unless you live in Manchester you probably don't know a city fan.

If any of the other big clubs win something you are likely to get some gloating from your mates/Co workers. I doubt anyone will even acknowledge this game Monday morning.
