Really wanted Portugal as it would have been a better test for where we are. As it is we failed the first test against Netherlands.

Tactically there always has been questions about southgate
The team spirit he managed to create last year was very impressive though
Ah well at least there's the England Women's team
Didn't see the game but wow how bad is England. Perhaps there are other hobbies that these guys could try as they are clearly no good at football. Not sports obviously but maybe something that relies less on coordination. They are surely getting no enjoyment out of something they are clearly no good at and it's quite frankly cruel to keep encouraging them.

Don't get me wrong, I am not particularly pro England, especially when they play pointless games during the season, but come on, these people must be able to do better than that, surely ?
Lastly, the funniest thing as Neville and that irritating commentator spending about 40 minutes trying to talk there way around playing out from the back, rather than just coming out with and spending 5 seconds saying that they were awful mistakes, by so called international players.
