As in when they play well. The rest, when they play well there are still serious flaws. There will be eventually with spurs too as they can’t cope over a 38 game season, but they at least have the capability at their best.

Whats the difference?

Sometimes Barkley plays well but I do think for a team going for trophies you need someone more influential.

Barkley offers physicality in midfield. Hard working guy.

Standard Barkley performance really, tidy but nothing of note

Giroud for Abraham needs doing. I get the original plan to get Tammy in behind utds slow CBs, but with Utd sitting deep and Chelsea bossing midfield Giroud would be more useful, holding the ball up and bringing others into play

I don’t think Chelsea have been that bad tbh, another day they could be winning by two or three. It’s also worth remembering, for all teams, this is the first week of the season, they are bound to be off the pace somewhat.

At least Chelsea will get to defend there europa league winners status.
