Why would anyone walk away from £30m? He will want Spurs to fire him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably for his own reputation and mental health.

He can make up that money in other big jobs. Once he gets on the big club managerial merry-go-round he’ll start raking it in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

£30m is a lot of money. Even the biggest clubs won't be giving him a contract of that size. Best option will be to force them to fire him and then take a year out. Most ppl have the memory of a goldfish these days. Barca, Madrid, Man U and Chelsea will all have openings by then.

3-0 flattered Spurs.

Pochettino could pick up a £60m three year contract at United, or even more there or elsewhere.

That 4th spot really up for grabs this season. United and Spurs both absolutely dreadful. Chelsea iffy too but comfortably better than both.

United will let him know they will employ him if he leaves Spurs, and make it worthwhile for him.

Another battle of who "bottles it the least"?

Where everyone under performs like last season but obviously two still finish 3rd and 4th despite being largely awful

Why because he steered you to one final in a millenia. ..which you totally bottled

It doesn’t matter if he is. He’s one of the most soght after coaches in world football. He’ll be looking at a hefty wage increase when leaving Spurs, which he can keep demanding if, and when, he moves from club to club.

Arsenal need 23 or more points from the next 9 games. Would set us up nicely.

20 points MAX from our next 9 fixtures. Will be surprised if we even get 20

I am sure. But not with a contract of the length he is getting at Spurs.

United don't usualy employ managers who have won sfa in a ten year management career, but knowing united there is always a first time.

United would offer Poch a £20m five year contract without batting an eyelid. Woodward has been desperate to get him since he made the mistake of going for Van Gaal over him.

I don’t think he’d actually take the job, to be honest. But money isn’t that big an issue. Plus Spurs may even come to some mutual agreement that allows him to leave without being paid off in full anyway.

I just think it’s highly unlikely that Levy shells out £30m to get rid of the manager.
