I don't think 'so poor' is the right way of putting it. Below par, as per their own lofty standards, is still way better than the field, bar Liverpool.
They've had injuries at the back and seem to be paying for their failure to sign a reliable CB to make up for Company moving on.
They've lost twice and dropped 8 points, but even so still have far and away the best goal difference in the division.
