Why are you using 8 years and 7 years? What has that got to do with anything? I'm talking about the strength of the clubs in the league, not the longevity of the teams.

As I said about, four finalists last season, three representatives out of four for the previous two seasons in the CL, two finalists in the last three years in Europe, with one win. Two finalists in the Europa league the season before last when Chelsea won it, United winning it the year before, Liverpool in the final the year before that.

I'm talking about winning and finals not QFs which shows the PL has been fighting for the European trophies as well as it has done for decades.

How are you drawing that conclusion?!?!?! It isn't even anywhere near as impressive in Europe now than it was in the past, i have just spelled that out quite clearly. As i have said, lets see, maybe two years from now it will look more impressive.

Obviously. Since the league is on top of Europe at the moment, having the current champions of both competitions, the world champions and the favourites for this seasons CL.

It’s not even about Europe anyway. It’s about league performances, where it’s clearly worse. Though European performances are yet to be determined, they are looking worse also.

The leagues currently crap, and that comes from someone delighted to see his team back in the big time.

Europe is definitely on a down turn. Again, pretty clear to see.

Liverpool fans making up a narrative to argue against to claim bitterness. I’m not in the least bit surprised.

The league is probably at its worst ever state in 25 years tbh, so many of the top 6 are just bad and you’ve got the scousers thinking they’re the dogs bolllocks scraping wins out of like 70% of their games

The big clubs are on their knees, how anyone can argue against that is beyond me. And that is where the strength of the league declines, Sheffield United are not and will never be in the same class as the big six in most years but there they are in the top five

Embarrassing isn’t it, the Germans and Spanish must be laughing their bums off at us. Brexit, shiiiit government and a shiiiit league.

Those leagues have their own issues as well, to be fair. Especially La Liga. Though apparently it’s bitter to point out that Atleti, Madrid and Barca losing some of their best players has made them worse.
