Don’t expect to see any of the null and void brigade on here. After all if they don’t care about finishing the premier league then they shouldn’t be interested in any other leagues as well

You lot go on about it more than the 3 or 4 that want it to happen.

Anyway, watching the Dortmund Schalke game and it just doesnt feel the same without fans. Perhaps if I supported one of the teams then it wouid feel different but IMO this doesn't feel like proper football.

Would have been offside anyway IMO. I know it ended up with a different player but he was interfering.

French outlet RMC Sport say social distancing could be a reason why UEFA ditches VAR for the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign.
, Premier League chiefs are believed to also have concerns over video assistant referees being infected or spreading the disease.

Earlier this month, former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg insisted VAR cannot be used until social distancing measures are relaxed.

He said: “If social distancing is still being enforced when the football season is finally resumed, then there is no way the VAR bunker at Stockley Park could be used.

“Certainly not if there are multiple Premier League matches being played at the same time."

Don't see why they can not have two or more? officials sat at least 2 meters apart from each other. Each with their own monitors and headsets to communicate. Var could still be implemented this way.

It has been brought up on several occasions in the media recently. I believe any player doing this will be cautioned if caught (in the PL)

Also:
“In relation to competitions in which the video assistant referee (VAR) system is implemented, these competitions are permitted to cease its use upon restart at the discretion of each individual competition organizer,” Fifa said in an official statement.

That statement was made this week.

Obviously they can. Not sure how it is done in Germany, but the PL method had eveyone in the same place before the break. That would probably change (no reason the VAR can't be at the ground in BCD games, surely?)
