The Premier League is the Monaco GP of darts predictions. Vastly over-hyped with a lack of over taking opportunities.

The Worlds is where real skill is needed, knowing your Barry Giblets from your Peter Snordsjaebergs in the first couple of rounds takes skill.

The PL goes on for longest, involves most prediction and crucially, as practically every round is equally weighted, it requires the most consistency of any tournament.

The PL is a bore fest that becomes predictable. The same players each and every week It is the Idiots Guide to Darts Prediction. Only flukey guesses at highest out shots make a difference from one week to the next. I should know, I had to score the thing every damn week.
The Worlds, now that is a competition. Unknown faces coming and shocking the world of predictions, upsets aplenty and unpredictable action throughout. A real test of a predictors knowledge of the game, not just the top seeds that are paraded on sky consistently.

To be honest, I am more interested in the best darts players than I am in your second/third tier'ers. Darts is more entertaining when it is top quality. Not a problem for me, certainly not the boring monstrosity you have described.

Exactly my point. You are an elitist who sees nothing from outside the top 16. Which illustrates why the Worlds is a better prediction game. It takes people out of their comfort zone and challenges them.

PPs are lucky punts. The true art of prediction games is picking the winner of more games than the rest of the field.
