Silky - to be fair Suarez has only just started speaking English properly, did so after the Spurs game on Sky then after winning his award on Monday night.

Pochettino apparently uses an interpreter with the media because he doesn't want his comments twisted.

Pretty sensible, if I were a foreign manager I would probably do the same for as long as I could get away with.

I hope Malky takes tan to the cleaners on this one, sounds more north-korean than malaysian. The last guy Tan sacked, was replaced by tan's son's best mate.

Yeah i saw that RKW..wish my spanish was as good as some of these foreigners.

However Vincent Tan's fashion sense gives us all an idea on the man. He's even got a bodyguard

I haven't read all the other comments on here, but I have read about Cardiff's crisis, and it is an absolute shambles. One of the worst I've ever heard of in football. If I was a Cardiff fan - and I know there are many of them who think this - I would rather be back in the Championship, or even League One, rather than in the Premier League with that idiot Tan thinking he knows best. The interfering tool clearly knows nothing about football. Malky Mackay is an excellent manager and I'm sure he'll go on to do well elsewhere - I certainly hope so. Tan probably thinks that they're in the Premier League thanks to him but rest assured, Cardiff would still be a midtable Championship side without Mackay. GOD I'M ANNOYED BY THIS! I hate football sometimes

The thing with manager sacking's is while on the face of it they look pretty rash, most of them are understandable when you think outside the box.

The off field turmoil at Cardiff can only be a good thing for us in terms or Saturdays game IMO. Sad for Mackay as he's a good manager but it would not be surprising for this to affect their on field performance.

Vincent Tan has invested a lot of money in players, breaking their transfer record 3 times over the summer. For Mackay to now be asking for more money did seem a bit unreasonable.

That said, it's daft of the owner to sack a good manager. Sounds like he's cutting off his nose to spite his face.

Says on the BBC match preview that despite the off field problems the Cardiff players seem to keep picking up results for Mackay when he needs them to the most. Not that it'll do him much good now, mind.

Remember myhammers that Cardiff had never been in the Prem and this year was a record year for TV income.

It would have been unbelievable had they not broken their transfer record repeatedly, given the enormous increase in income.

Its not the owners money they have been spending really, its the clubs.

It's not unreasonable for a manager to suggest he needs more players in january, tan has thrown his toys out of his pram because he thought he'd get a massive return on the 15-20m he's spent.

Pochettino can speak English now I think he probably always could. You see him during games giving players instructions in English. He just creates this illusion for whatever reason I don't know when it comes to media interviews.

I'm sure Rodgers had the right intentions with his comments but personally backing the manager and saying his boss knows nothing about football is hardly constructive to a difficult situation that Malky finds himself.

Me personally, I'm of the opinion his comments have caused more problems for Malky and could arguably be the straw that broke the camels back.

That said I'm also of the opinion this was inevitable and the comments have possibly just accelerated the process.

He doesn't want to be miss quoted, and given the pathetic nature of the media in this country, we can hardly blame him.

I don't care how much money Tan has put into the club the guys a fruit cake. I'm gutted about Malky going.

Kings road it's an extremely logical reason you have put forward.

Malky didn't ask per say he just said if there are funds available he would like to bring in some players whether that be loan or buy. There was nothing in reasonable about it IMO.
