How do people like Tan get control of football clubs. It's about time the 'fit & proper persons' committee were looked into, disbanded & an effective organisation formed that stops these nut jobs ruining our clubs.
Do you reckon MacKay would be considered for the Spurs job?
The question you have to ask about mackay to spurs is, would he touch it with a bargepole having the same kind of tool (levy) in charge as tan?

Cardiff's record is so good against us because barring the Carling cup final two years ago and a third round tie in 2008, which we both won, the last time we played them was in 1959 in the then second division. That was before Shanks, i.e. when we were crap.
Despotic billionaires, who needs them? Well, football does - unfortunately all "owners" or "bankrollers" are more or less despotic. RA at Chelsea - probably one of the better ones. Has given Chelsea European glory and a top side (and cares about the club and fans). Hull, Blackburn, Birmingham, Portsmouth and Cardiff are all sad examples where money has brought a temporary "high" followed by a crash. (Not yet for Cardiff FC, but not looking good). Southampton are the only club who have sacked a successful manager and moved forward.
Cardiff, take back your club, your colours and pride. Don't be abused by this guy, he's using your club to promote his own ideas - not in the interest of CCFC or football. Hull fans should also avoid the Tigers name. Viva Football!
Yeah most of our games against Cardiff were in the 1920's.
We have only played them 7 times in the last 84 years.
These shenanigans have been dragon on for a while
soccer?lol.
Vincent Tan has backed Mackay by spending a lot of money over the summer. Maybe Mackay is now publicly criticising the owner so as to engineer a move to a bigger club.
To be fair Mackay wasn't criticising the Owner, he just said he would like to strengthen the squad.
The football league should be looking into whether Tan is a suitable owner and the LMA should be telling all managers not to apply for the role.
Managers shouldn't be subject to the whim of the owners, sacked if results are bad but they are 15th in the premiership - where did Tan expect to be in the top 5??
Thoughts on the new man Ole gunnar?
