Predictor Table - Weeks 25 - 28

++++++++ANALYSIS++++++++

Week 25

You wait ages for a LogieB clean sweep and like league goals against Big Lurch you get two at once, scrap that three in this game week with BLUEBELL and GOWTEAM scoring a healthy 22 points this game week. Our next top scorer was LMC with a not too shabby 21 points who missed out on the clean sweep due to the ICT game. The last clean sweep was completed by long term front runner ROCKNROLLBHOY who scored an impressive 20 points.

All in all a high scoring week for most of us and most players scored double figure points this game week. Whilst not top scorer LMC's three correct score predictions was the stand out performance this game week

Weeks 26 and 27

A total of 10 games to predict from compared to the previous game week of 6 games and it was a case of moving from the sublime to the ridiculous. Most players scored poorly and many didn't even make double figure points. Nobody picked the draw between Rangers and Stenhousemuir and only two players predicted a win for Aberdeen against Celtic. With other shock scorelines this week it was a poor scoring week and correct score prediction were rarer than original patter on ja606.

Those who scored well really shone this week and made a difference in their position in the table. It really is the key to this game, in that progress is made by scoring heavily in a poor scoring week. Our top scorers were BLUEBELL and PARTICK BATEMAN with 20 points followed by KAISER and LMC with 19 points.

Week 28

From sublime to ridiculous and back to sublime again. A total of five, yes FIVE, CINQ, CINQUE, FUNF, no matter what way you say it FIVE LOGIEB clean sweeps this week. The season LOGIEB done it we had one clean sweep of predictions that season and this season alone JUKEBOXJUNKIE has had 4 of them.

Even then he was not top scorer. JUKEBOXJUNKIE's score of 20 points was matched by PUYOL, SUPER DENNIS FARINA and TROLLFECKER but all were outdone by our top scorer for this week MICK DEE with a stunning 22 points.

Most players scored double figure points this week and that capped off a fine period for a number of players.

Over the 4 game weeks our top scorers were LMC with 52 points, BLUEBELL and KAISER with 51 points and PARTICK BATEMAN with 50 points. All made significant gains in the table but that is not the biggest story...

BOOOOOOOOOM we have a title race people. Our defending champion had a bit of a slip this period allowing the gap at the top to shorten to one point. The top 6 remain unchanged but GHODFATHER has closed the gap at the top and there is only 15 points between the top 5. GHODFATHER and ROCKNROLLBHOY had a strong showing over this period which puts GHOD right in the hunt and put RNR back in the mix after a decidedly dodgy period since Christmas.

By the time you have digested this the next set of fixtures will be up in the main article. There is a lot of Friday night football and midweek games coming up in the next few weeks so keep an eye on the fixture list.

As ever if there are any queries or something you think that is wrong then ask away. Feel free to mock/gloat accordingly

Ooosh back in the top half

Really bad start to the season but I've climbed slowly but surely throughout the season.

Finally out of the relegation zone.

If only I hadn’t missed the first 5/6 weeks.

As the title race closes in, you should make it a rule that the front runner can't copy the predictions of his nearest challenger

That's a great shout, have done something similar before where I took e-mail entry for predictions, might do that from the split onwards.

Being the front runner at the moment I can assure you that I have no intention of copying the predictions of the nearest challenger.
