After carrying United again this season I'm surprised he hasn't been nominated for POTY, YPOTY, MOTY, SPOTY, a Bafta, a Golden Globe and the Noble Prize for Chemistry.

Update: England smash 1 past both Italy and Uruguay with Rooney as our main man, then only get a point against lowly Costa Coffee when Rooney is rested.
Rooney starring as our main man so far this season. He has been the main reason why our opening games have been so low scoring. I think this reflects his tracking back success rates and his ability to present the opposition the ball in order to set up other team mates for track backs. This season Rooney is not just number one for track backs. He is now number one for track back ASSISTS for team mates.
