They've jumped in the band wagon of getting to the 3rd round, got a big game and brought more fans to an away game than they get at home matches.

Those extra fans could provide much needed finance at the club by going to every game.

Booby had his house burgled the week before xmas. Got to be a blue nose.

He and his family have been staying in a hotel under guard since then. I hope he is not put off the city now.

He had an attempted robbery before this one as well.

Think the sides that they came into plays a factor as well.

Sterling under Rodgers came into side that had Suarez firing, despite our midfield & defence problems. Then we added Sturridge & Coutinho which changed the whole dynamic of our style for the better. That second half of the first season under Rodgers sort set the tone for us the following season.

Ibe never got that (apart from maybe 3 months when we had a good run) and I'm not saying he is a better player than Sterling (I was one of the people who thought that based on the reserve team performances) but that plays a factor in player development.

Never underestimate the value of Rodgers coaching on Sterling's career. I sometimes wonder if any other manager could've brought him through the same.
