3 quality players. That's all we need imo.

Don't need a team full of world class players, base your team around 4 or 5 players and you're sweet.

Problem we've always had is we don't go out and sign those 3 top quality players to build around, we sign the padding you put around top quality players and try to make it work.

So Arsenal win, as expected. We desperately need a win today, otherwise a gap that will be difficult to bridge will open up. A real six pointer!

Can i just say, i'm developing a bit of a mancrush on Wijnaldum. Such a classy player.

Heading for mid table moaners looking a bit silly tonight.

I suspect they will be looking even more silly in May, but we'll see.

And there's nothing wrong with that, I said myself I think we need three top quality players.

It was more that over the past few days people have been saying we practically need an entirely new 11.

Markovic looked very good against Arsenal, if he can play like that for the rest of the season then we'll at least get a decent fee out of him come the summer.

We need a pacey forward, this stops us from needing to move Lallana out of the midfield when we get an injury and allows us to rotate.

A dm to replace Lucas who will be outgoing, more alonso than masch in my opinion....

A left back, which frees Milner up for cover all over the pitch.

I'd say that's all we need and where the most impact would be made.

So our next game is Leicester away.

They are having a terrible season and could well be in the drop zone at kick off, currently 2-0 down at resurgent Swansea.

They showed in the hammering of Man City and their CL form though that 'on their day' they can still produce very good performances.

The advantage we have is we have no games before it.

They have two. Away to Millwall in the cup which in current form looks like a Millwall win.

Then chalk and cheese of away to Sevilla, one of the best sides in Europe.

It's the sort of game we have been losing in the last month or so, but also the sort of game where we could really hammer them given the advantage we have before the fixture and their desperate form.

Will be interesting how it pans out.

That pass from Wijnaldum.

Much better performance but I expected that against top team. Looks like there's a big chance that Leicester will be in the bottom three by the time we play them in a fortnight.

Hopefully that won't spur them on to score their first goals of 2017 and play really well against us. Chance in the next round of games with Man Utd and Arsenal not playing, then we have Arsenal at home.

We could be 5pts ahead of Arsenal should we beat them at Anfield. Big chance to get ourselves right back in the mix.
