It's another clean sheet for Mamadou Sakho.
Three on the bounce, the only three they have all season.
Mamadou has been good. If he carries on will klopp swallow his pride?
I'm guessing not, which is a repeated problem for Liverpool managers.
What a crock of shiite
Good to see Sakho playing well but there is a world of difference between being a key player for a relegation struggler under relegation avoider supreme Sam Allardyce to being one under Klopp in a team looking to win trophies and compete on all fronts with open attacking football.
A bit of good form (3 games!) doesn't make Klopp wrong for shipping an unprofessional player out.

It's not their only 3 clean sheets.
Keeping out aenemic teams line Boro and Watford hardly makes Dakho a great defender all of a sudden. He's never gonna wear the red shirt again. Not good enough to start, ill disciplined and seemingly a poor influence.
Also big sams teams are always going to keep more clean sheets than klopps, simply due to how he gets his teams playing.
It's not like sakho is single handedly keeping all these clean sheets
Sahko has done well for them after getting fit. Hopefully he sees this move as a chance to show Klopp that he can work hard and focus on his football. I'm sure the lads miss his influence in the changing room also as he's such a strong personality, evidenced by him captaining PSG at 17.
If Klopp can't find a defender to replace him and he shows Klopp what he's worth I don't see why he won't give him a chance. The problem is that maybe something else has gone on between them that we don't know about and it's personal, if so there's no way back.
Surely wengers going now?
Let's hope not.

Interesting article on sakho since he was banned, didn't realise he took impoverished families from merseyside to Disneyland during the summer when he was missing out on the euros (unfairly).
3 clean sheets for palace since he started playing, compared to 2 in the 30 games beforehand.
Is a motivator in the dressing room, "would regularly whip up the Liverpool team in the dressing room"
Sort of sounds like some of the influence we have been missing. If the article is correct and it all stems from the pre season tardiness then there may yet be a chance for him to prove his application.
I'd love to see him with matip, both big and good in the air, both good with the ball on the deck and less error prone than lovren, who is still a good defender himself.
I know there's a set of fans who dislike his ungainly style, but if he proves his dedication in pre season I think he could be a good addition to the defence, and how often have the lads looked unmotivated?? His influence seems to go beyond the pitch
Just read an interview with Lallana about the players having to "sacrifice themselves" for the team under Klopp, and that it was the same with Poch at Southampton. I can see why that doesn't work for someone like Sturridge..........
Morning trannys. So do we have any strikers available today? Firmino and Origi both out?
Hey Manfrom. My latest info from yesterday says Firmino is good to go?
I think he's having a final assessment this morning. IF not, throw Lucas up there
Sakho was part of the back 4 that collapsed at Crystanbul.
Let's not pretend he's going to magically lead our defence to glory.
Sakho's just another in a long line that seems to be gaining legend status way beyond anything he's achieved at the club, in his absence......
Long line? I can only think of 2?

I do agree with that.
Our fans (maybe all fans) do have a tendency of overrating players who are absent for some reason.
Not absolving myself of that either. I thought Flanagan and Ings would both have made better come backs by now than they have done, even Gomez too probably.
It's easy to get suckered into thinking an absent player will be the answer.

I was making a point. Who can forget Joe Cole? He wasn't even at the club, and he was elevated to Messi like status
Jesus I completely forgot he was even here.
But to be fair that was Gerrard's fault, not the fans.....

If Hart did that in a Liverpool shirt he would get pellets for months.
