Joyce is saying Origi is considering his future with us.

Three years left on his contract so can't see him going this summer.

Origi should work on his fitness first.

He needs to be patient and the chances will come for him. Europe next season should help. He does need game time to develop but he's currently too inconsistent to be first choice for us and with doubts over the futures of Sturridge and Ings there's no way we could loan him out next season.

"It's very frustrating not to often have had the chance to show what I can do.

"But I believe in myself and I know very well I have the qualities even if they aren't immediately apparent to the coach.

"Today, we just have the Premier League," he added. "But I'll draw conclusions at the end of the season.

"Thanks to the experience I have picked up, I now know how to handle the situation. You have to adapt, stay calm and continue working.

"The aim is to become a first-team regular at Liverpool, and I'm perhaps not all that far away.

"For the moment, I'm focused on Liverpool. I try to show my qualities when the coach puts me in. I think I've done that well up to now."

"If I play so little it's also because I'm at a big club where it's more difficult to get into the starting lineup than it is at Everton," Origi added.

So wants to play more, will have a think about his options in the summer. Everton are a small club

Maybe he sees an opportunity with Lukaku leaving.

We should create an article...Origi eyes starting place with vacant striker role at Everton.

Very nice.

So, first team sitting on the bench next season or a loan to a prem team?

Keep him obviously.

Was busy sprouting chit on Robb's striker article and it got me thinking.

We should test City's hand with a bid for Iheanacho. With Jesus preferred and Aguero already there.

Why obvious? he seems to have come to the point where the u23s likely aren't going to offer him much in the way of developing his game. granted we need a RB back up as wisdom, flannagan and randall aren't likely to be with us much longer, but I'm not sure that a few league cup games here and there would be greatly benficial compared to a decent loan.

What happens if we send him out for the season and Clyne gets injured? If he's our second best right back, he has to stay. It's imperative we build a squad with two potential first teamers for every spot, otherwise we're going to have a spell every season like we had in January that stops us challenging for trophies.

I dunno, aren't there recall options? Milner as a back up if we get a dedicated LB? Just thinking out loud here.

Of course we need a strong squad, but at the same time TAA looks like he could have a big future at the club. I'd hate to see him stagnate on the bench, but rather get seriously tested on loan somewhere.
