I dunno, aren't there recall options? Milner as a back up if we get a dedicated LB? Just thinking out loud here.

Of course we need a strong squad, but at the same time TAA looks like he could have a big future at the club. I'd hate to see him stagnate on the bench, but rather get seriously tested on loan somewhere.

He won't stagnate on the bench.

He's at the best club for his development.

Sending him somewhere else would be crazy.

I don't get why some fans are so keen to send our players out on loan.

They need to be at Liverpool learning from Klopp and his coaches every day. That's why we recruited a top class manager.

I don't want him learning from Alan Pardew or David Moyes just to get a bit of first team football.

You haven't been able to recall loans at PL clubs for years and years.

You can also no longer recall most loans to football league clubs.

Not trying to be contrary but didn't Chelsea recall Ake this season from Bournemouth?

Im sure you can include recall options on the loans or pay some sort of penalty to end the loan prematurely.

You can recall half way through the season in January if that option is agreed at the start when the loan deal is made. Think that's the only circumstances it's allowed.
