Cherno samba!

Fredy adu as well obviously, and keirison.

Danny Collins was another. Think you had to pick him up from Bury or somewhere like that. I bought him and Ibramhimovic from Malmo. Got something like 100 goals between them

Sometimes FM can be quite prophetic. I remember buying (at great expense for a teenager!) a superstar in the making from Italy called Mario Balotelli. I think he was 15 or 16 at the time. Made 2 or 3 disastrous first team appearances over 5 years then didn't get his massive contract renewed and lived out the rest of his career being bang average at a mid table Greek side.

Speaking of assorted world class youth....

Brooks Lennon. not exactly raking the cash in playing in MLS. salary of just under 800 quid per week.

Marc Pelosi on the other hand...1100 p/w

Ryan Kent is doing well at barnsley. I rated him in the youth team but nit sure he will make it at premiership level

Done OK with Coventry last year too. helped them push for the playoffs before being recalled in january. So nice to hear that he's been able to step up a level. Never seen much of him other than highlights. Be nice to see him pushing for a squad place next season.

He was really good in our U23's last season.

Henderson back on crutches today.

We need to buy a midfielder who an control the game if he is going to be constantly injured.

I think we need one regardless but more so now with this reoccurring issue.

Naby Keita is the one Klopp wants. His stats look good and apparently Bayern are interested. Really hope we're not set for another summer of losing out on transfer targets.

Sakho off for Palace with a bad looking injury.

That's £25m off our transfer budget.

Gotta feel a bit sorry for him, despite all of the nonsense that is of his own doing. Banned for taking a non-banned substance and then just as he was looking back to his best he suffers a serious injury.

He's always been injury prone.

One of the things his fanboys miss.

He never seems to play enough games.

Stuck with an unhappy crocked player long term now, great. Been an absolute shiitt few days for us particularly after tonight's results.

Strangely enough that injury might just have saved his Liverpool career as he'll probably be with us in rehab for most of next season. If he can reconcile with Klopp you never know... It's very unlikely but stranger things have happened.

So our manager is deluded but the Great Greatteams knows best

Our manager had a personal none football related difference with Sakho.

Sakho is no different to Matip and Lovren when it comes to picking up injuries and we are about to bid high for someone who has been out for half a season.

posted on 27/4/17

Matip has played about the same number of games as Sakho in his career despite starting his career 2 years later.

His 22 appearances this season is more than Sakho has played in 2 of his 3 seasons at Liverpool.

Lovren, same age as Sakho, has played 2 seasons worth of games more than him in his career.

Fan boys. What a pathetic comment. Anyone that doesn't think we'd have been better off this season with him in the squad is deluded.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think we would be better off having a player in the squad who undermines the manager and the club repeatedly.

but then again, I may be experiencing the same delusions as the management and ownership

Sahko's performances in a back 6 at Palace have blinded people to his performances in a back 2 or 3 for us, and they have forgotten his injury record.

Remember when Sam Allardyce made Lamine Kone look like Baresi? Not looked the same under Moyes has he?

Ian Ayre

"The hardest one out [transfer] has to be Suarez, because a) nobody wanted him to leave and b) halfway through the process he bit somebody at the World Cup.

I remember the sporting director of Barcelona calling me during that game, immediately as Suarez bit the player, and he said to me 'My friend, he's bitten somebody, how can this be the price?'

"I said: 'He'd already bitten somebody when you first bid!'"

Interesting to know that we were already in talks to sell Suarez before he bit Chiellini as opposed to that being our decision being made for us.

Then you bring someone in to replace him or you manage the situation. You don't make us weaker, which is what has happened.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's a completely different conversation though. Having extra depth at CB is nothing to do with claiming that we'd have been better off with Sakho
