One of the worst demos ever
By the age of 32 I'd just about fashioned a double lollipop.
Just in time.
I did have a sexy Marswill turn in my locker though.
WTF is a marseille turn
The highlight of my career was finally being able to reach the half way line with a goal kick.

Seems increasingly likely that Gerrard is being prepared to take over from Klopp, down the line.
Klopp has a long contract and tends to stay long, so I'm talking say 5 years, when Gerrard has progressed like Zidane did at Real, through the youths and then onto Klopps coaching staff at first team level.
That looks like the plan. Very difficult to plan that far ahead in football though as it changes so quickly.
I think we all know it's a matter of when not if he becomes our manager.
Just hope he doesn't make any rash decisions along the way before he's ready ala Hyypia and Gary Neville.
Should get plenty of experience as a manager elsewhere at a lower level before imo.
Well i certainly hope he earns it on merit not just because of who he is

Not sure that's relevant at this level TBH.
Lower league is nothing like the highest level anymore.
50 years ago it was relevant as clubs were clubs, but now it's now it's like a different world between Tranmere and LFC.
Gerrard only knows the highest level and that's all he needs to know.

Ronism.
"As a player I probably only had one trick, apart from passing to my own team-mates, and that was a step over. One of my managers said you look like a lollipop doing that so I said, "I'll have that, that's what I'll call it". Subsequently, when I was covering a game and someone did it, I'd say, "he's just done a lollipop".
Ron Atkinson came out with it years ago. I guess as he's not exactly welcome on commentary anymore it's not so common.......

£40m
Even China wont give us £40m for him
You know what FSG get good money. Wouldn't surprise me if we got £30m or something.
With his injury record? No chance.
I'll say 18 mil, which would still be a decent price for him, given his track records with Injuries.
Shame as he's such a talented player, still only 26 too.
