Never said that. I said we wouldn't pay upwards of the 120 million that was given when someone gave a list of players. I also doubt that Keita will go for more than 35-40 million.... we'll see though.

The problem is RB Leipzig (with Red Bull's backing) are in a position where they don't have to sell ANY player. As a result, RBL can put a premium (or PL stupid tax) on their players to fend off predators.

The going rate for players is going up all the time.

£40-50m is becoming what £20-30m was even just a couple of years ago.

As mentioned earlier....Hank marvin.

Been on a low calorie diet for a couple of months and today its just slapped me right in the face. I want a big dirty burger dipped in batter, deep fried, sliced up and used for topping on a pizza, which inturn will be battered and deep fried before being served on a bed of kebab meat and chips

but no. I'll stick with my strawberry and avocado smoothy for lunch and my chicken breast and broccoli for dinner

The trick is to combine the bargains with successful big money signings.

Spurs for example have done very well on the cheap ones in the last few years, but badly on the big money ones. If they had got the big money ones right they would have won stuff by now. But then maybe the fact these big money players have gone to Spurs at all tells you they are a bit overpriced and not that good, the best clubs didn't actually want them.

That's the worry with Keita and VVD. I think they are good enough to be worth big money, so will we actually get over the line and sign them? Or will we be left with 2nd and 3rd choices as they move elsewhere, who end up not really being any better than what we have?

It's such a big window for us which will probably define how our next few seasons pan out. It will be very difficult for us to compete and keep the likes of Coutinho if we get this summer wrong, and then we are back to square one again.

I am actually rewarding all my good efforts in slimming down and toning up a bit by going out and later and getting battered

Gonna drink gallons and gallons of beer. Everything i can lay my hands on. Ales. IPAs. Stouts. Wits. Porters. Hefe's. Pils. Saisons. Feckin Bocks!!!!!!!!!!

I reckon I'll have 6 or 7 tonight (although yankee pints are smaller than brit pints, so that only works out to about 4 or 5). Each one a different style. Yum yum yum.

Nothing beats a cold beer tbh. I love American beers too. There are so many cool little breweries everywhere. They take it proper seriously too.

Yup. yanks make the best beers in the world (Although I did have a Fullers ESB last weekend which was awesome).

Within 5 miles of my front door I have 7 breweries, 2 cideries and a distillery.

Saw maybe 5 full games of him this season, what I saw was an outstanding player. All the hype was around forsberg and Werner but Keita was the best player on the pitch each time hands down.

Trust klopps judgment.. Need to get the big signings right though, it's what has held us back..

I'm sure he does, Real seem to have their sights set on Dybala though and Barca aren't showing an interest at this stage.

If real can't get dybala I think they'll change to him but if they can he'll have to change his preference for a move.

Don't rule out Chelsea, seems a no brainer for them. Sell Costa to China for £80m, buy Auba and still have a profit left over.
