Matic will be a good signing for any team needing a holding midfielder. I mean anybody in this world will look 'lazy' next to Kante so I'm not sure why Chelsea fans have decided he's not good enough anymore. He's also not suited to Conte's system doesnt mean he's become a bad player.

Thing is that Klavan is 31 and doesn't mind being on the bench knowing he's back up.

Gomez is 20 years old and needs to play to improve, he's not going to be playing regularly with us so a loan to a perm team is a good move.

Well I spose Brighton would be a PL club, but I think a season where he's promised to play some footy by Klopp could be a good thing and I just don't trust Klav nor Lovern for that matter either

We're looking to sign a new centre back to partner Matip, we'd then have Lovren, Klavan, Gomez & Can who can play there for back up.

I'd rather Gomez go out and get a season of football under his belt than playing a game here and there.

Problem is Albion have a pretty decent CB pairing in Dunk and Duffy, although both have had their share of injuries. Bruno at RB is club captain and will be undisputed first choice so it only leaves LB where after not making Pocognoli's loan permanent they have the useless Bong and are trying to sign an Austrian international.

Just can't see Gomez getting the minutes he needs there, unless something is written into the loan deal.
