Yeah imagine calling someone delusional and stuff.

posted on 17/8/17

Delusional - characterized by or holding idiosyncratic beliefs or impressions that are contradicted by reality or rational argument, typically as a symptom of mental disorder.

Everybody can see glaring weaknesses in our defence apart from you...and Righteous1

That's kinda of where I was coming from when I said delusional...because that's where Kash started the 'happy clapper' thing with. People not acknowledging our weaknesses just because we winning games.

I think we all want the same thing, for the club to progress.

We just have different ways of doing that. So we constantly make eachother the enemy.

Pointless really.

Yes it's just like last year when you thought our season would fall apart and then didn't because they were contradicted by reality.

It's not that I think the defence is great I'm just not going to lose my sh!t about it because;

a) It's not that bad
b) It's a reason we score lots of goals.

If being happy about coming above Utd and Arsenal and getting back in the CL when we have no right to then yes I am happy. I also enjoy watching and supporting LFC because I'm a freak.

It was actually RAP who came with the term Happy Clappers

It's good to have different extremes. Would be a boring forum if we all agreed.

posted on 17/8/17

I don't particularly feel I am extreme. I just don't lose my sh!t when everything is not going LFC's way.

Fake bids will be a highlight of 606 this season though.

It's like the criticism was totally unrealted

And I never said the season will fall apart (I would love for someone to show me this)...I think I agreed on a few of the points that were made about the team and certain players. Again...shock horror

I really hope we force Coutinho to stay one more season.

Ooooooh. I like those comments.

Coutinho unveiled for the the third time in Barca tomorrow by the way everyone.

Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has attempted to clarify the situation, suggesting the confusion has stemmed from an incorrect translation.

“When last night Pep Segura was talking about ‘deal is close’ I am pretty sure he meant only Dembele," Balague tweeted.

Barcelona's general manager had claimed they were close to signing Philippe Coutinho.

“Segura knows Liverpool haven’t moved an inch their position on Coutinho. They are not selling.

“Despite the insistence of Catalan press about meetings this week, nothing is planned between Liverpool and Barcelona.

“He mentions Coutinho and Dembele but one thing is lost in translation.

"He is trying to say club want/negotiating for both. But he knows LFC are not selling at the minute.”

If we keep him I am going to let out a bit of wee.

I still think we've had a poor transfer window if we keep him if we don't sign anybody else

I like how soton are adamant they wont sell virgil but are reportedly looking at cbs who all play on the left side...

Still sure we won't get VVD.

I reckon a lot of those who absolutely shat their pants last Jan/Feb are probably a bit immature.

Many of the same are doing it now too and this time it's not even over results.

They think not moaning and pooing themselves every 5 mins means pretending we don't have weaknesses..

Of course we have weaknesses. Going on and on about them doesn't help anything though. Especially when our results are actually pretty good.

I'm still hopeful we will make a couple of signings between now and the end of the window but in by going to spend the next 6 months moaning about it if we don't.

I'd rather enjoy watching us play and enjoy us losing infrequently and winning pretty frequently.

point is we've had those weaknesses for the bestow the last 3 years, we've been completely useless at defending set pieces since Rodgers was here and we've still got them.

we throw away points against sides that will finish bottom half every season and it needs facking sorting out!!!!!!!!

On the subject of transfers, Klopp is a good manager and must know that what we've got could be improved upon and i'm hopeful.

Draxler, Chamberlain and VVD and Coutinho can fack off the Barcelona.

Happy days.

I'm the only one who wants Chambo
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I wouldn't mind chamberlain, versatile, strong, quick can score goals and hg. So long as he's in addition to other players coming in if coutinho goes then I think he'd be a fine signing. If he's the replacement for coutinho then we're fscked.

I get the feeling Klopp would rather develop the younger players he's already got at the club rather than break the bank to sign someone who is already the finished article.

We are turning in to Arsenal. They would sell on their young players as soon as they became better for a profit then do the same again and again. We've made Coutinho in to the player he is and as soon as we have a talent at our disposal, we let them go. I hope this time it can be different.
