The bid from #FCB was €90m (£82.2m) guaranteed, with add-ons to €125m (£114.3m), which could have risen further to €130m (£118.8m)

Rumour on twitter that Sturridge told Klopp he wasn't quite ready for the weekend and Klopp went mental at him.
I hope this is not true. Why can't we start a season with no controversy

FFS Sturridge
Apparently one of the clauses was that he won the balon d'or
I hope we rejected it with a 'lol' or something.

Just disappointing when as a club we have loads of money but refuse to spend it to improve our CBs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I expect a world record bid, especially if we sell Sakho. I'm hoping the club are just waiting for someone else to make a bid.

He did it with Rodgers apparently. His attitude has been questioned a few times now. Klopp questioned it when he joined. We can't rely on Solanke and Origi if Sturridge wants an easy ride again this season
Klopp will be wise to capitalise on the enthusiasm Solanke is showing atm.

10 pages of people jumping to conclusions and slating FSG off for lieing to us about not selling coutinho.. 4 posts on the fact they have rejected another bid..
ffs
Rejecting the bid is great news.
Keeping Coutinho doesn't make for a great summer transfer window though. We need a couple more quality players on top of what we have. A new CB is a must.
Barca offering crappy instalments and add one when they received the Neymar cash in one single payment, jokers.
Wtf is this guys problem?

"Once the owners started to get involved, though, it became about power. It's one thing it coming from the manger's mouth - there being a feeling that he shouldn't be sold - but now they are in a situation that sets a precedent for future deals."
That's the whole point you fecking idiot.
Exerting your power against arguably the major global player in the market place = damaging.
Being forced to sell your biggest asset against your will thus leaving you weaker in your prime competition = what exactly?
I'm no sure jermane jenas has the depth to think this one through

Exactly and aren't they just backing up what the manager said? Average player who loves the sound of his own voice
The obsession in the media about selling Coutinho is odd, I've never seen anything quite like it before.
Far be it from me to ever encourage Ttliv and his conspiracy theories but there has been an awful lot of players coming out and saying Liverpool should sell. I don't really know why.
I haven't seen them coming out saying RBL and Southampton should sell. I haven't seen them coming out saying Man Utd should sell De Gea, or Arsenal should sell Sanchez.
Jenas' comparison to Sterling and Suarez is hilarious.
Suarez we did make stay for a year more than he really wanted to, while Sterling we sold for an enormous fee (which still doesn't look too bad even in the current climate) when he only had two years on his contract.
Coutinho signed a new contract just 6 months ago. There is no dispute with him over wages. We are almost in the CL and he has the opportunity to be a huge part of the side as we try and win a trophy and compete at that level.
The clamour to sell him from the media is just weird.
He contradicts himself anyway saying the timing is a problem and admitting we may struggle to get someone in if we do sell, idiot.
