Few mumblings about us possibly signing Kovacic from Madrid!
Can't see them selling I'm but it would be a quality signing.

Is he the sort of player we need? I've never seen him play.
Kovacic is quality, we won't be getting him.
More bitterness from Hoffenheim.
Hoffenheim’s Kerem Demirbay has stoked the fires before tomorrow evening’s Champions League tie at Anfield, with his side 2-1 down from the first leg.
According to Demirbay, Hoffenheim outplayed us a week ago and reckon they’ll do so again on Wednesday – largely because the play a ‘better’ brand of football.
“We definitely play the better football. We’ll see in the end whether it will be enough,” the midfielder told German publication Bild.
“You have to say honestly that this is a good team. But we’re a good team, too.
“We’re not Liverpool but we can go there with our chests out and play completely freely.
“We’re good enough to survive there and score at least two goals.”

I hope they play as he says as it will be a thrashing if they do.
Our structure to press them in those opening minutes were some of the best I've seen from us under Klopp.
They just sound sour cos they missed a penalty.
they did have more possession but we had twice the shots on the target, his comment is abit silly but they werent bad
They were brave for their first ever game in Europe but the brownie points will disappear if they keep behaving like this.

He isn't bothered about anfield either so I hope the fans sing their heads off and make it intimidating.

Origi is the future.
-------
They need to send someone back in time to ensure this future never happens.
They should blame UEFA if they're not happy with playing us.
Ojo starts for Fulham tonight against Bristol Rovers in the League Cup.
So Coutinho is now ill on top of his bad back. Feeling sick as a parrot would be my guess
My theory is he did have a back injury.
That was then fine, probably after the Watford game, or Hoffenheim leg 1 at a push.
Since then, either the player or the club or both, have decided it's best he doesn't play until after the international break.
I reckon he will be back for the Man City away game on September 9th.
Be interesting to see the home crowds reaction upon his return to the team.
It will be fine I reckon.
Just watching the Nice game and Balotelli is as rubbish as ever...
Never gets in the box, rarely pressures and just doesn't pass in the final third...
I really don't know how he found any sort of goal scoring spree??

I think he'll get booed the first game then play well and it'll be forgotten!
I'm not sure he will get booed. Suarez wanted to leave the club and didn't get booed. Coutinho didn't want to leave the club until Barca came calling. Otherwise he's happy at the club. It's understandable he wanted to go to Barca. Suarez wanted to leave so much he wanted to go to Arsenal and stated this desire in the press and told them that he wanted the club to respect him and let him leave. Coutinho has kept quiet and respectful.
Yeah I don't see why he would get booed.
Wouldn't reflect very well on Liverpool fans at all if he does.
He thought he had the chance to leave for bigger and better and wanted that chance. As long as he now accepts it isn't happening and works hard, there is no reason to start any animosity.
Suarez had a away game at Sunderland where he quickly scored 2 and assisted in one which allowed the fans to forget. He would have still played had he not been banned.
Coutinho looks like outright refusal to play. Even Klopp has hinted this. Boos will be well deserved but the best punishment is that he did not get his Barca move.
