If I had a choice between getting Lemar and getting Coutinho to stay and reintegrating him into the squad for another season I would choose the latter every time. We simply cannot sell our top players year after year. - plus sending a message to those Catalan baastards would be brilliant. Lemar, as good as he may be or become would obviously be brilliant in the squad but for me keeping Coutinho and getting a centre half is more important.

Even though I was happy with our business and feeling pretty positive, I'm going to feel quite disappointed if we don't get these 2 in after all this excitement!

Coutinho can only be sold if we've got the 2 deals done.

Agree. Especially considering I've never seen Lemar play and from what I've read he's a wide forward which wouldn't solve our creativity issue against defensive teams from midfield.
