Thats a Megadeth lyric btw

Never heard of them. Are they similar to the Smiths?

I like Megadeth a lot. Haven't listened in far too long!

Not having that. You’re definitely more Take That than Megadeth.

Another very good finish from the edge of the box, left foot into the bottom corner.
4th of the season.
Good game today.
We weren’t at our best but we had good moments against a team who were tactically well set up to counter our threats and hit us on the break.
Shame we couldn’t see it out, and our lack of cohesion when protecting a lead is a problem, but it’s another game without losing. 7 months now since we lost at home and in truth we haven’t looked like losing many either.
5 games on the spin now against midtabke or lower opponents. Important to maximise these fixtures as doing so will probably see us in the top 4 before we go to Arsenal just before Xmas.
No easy games in the PL but with the quality we have in the squad, and with most of them available, it should be a good time for us.
Expect another raft of changes at Stoke with Firmino, Mane, Can surely coming back in and maybe one or two others.
I wonder if Klopp will consider the 3 at the back for Stoke? We played it there last season and it didn’t really work but maybe we have better options for it now.
Could go something like this:
Mig
Gomez
Matip
Klavan
Ox
Can (Wij)
Hendo
Moreno (or even the lesser spotted Robertson!)
Cout (Lallana)
Firmino
Salah (Mane)
Good options to have anyway. Stoke have been poor most of the season but it’s never a game to take lightly.
Not sure why we would want to go to a back 3 out of the blue. Stoke are struggling and Hughes is on the brink of the sack. Play our strongest team and get the 3 points.
Brighton will park the bus at home so could be a game for Lallana and others.
I agree with kash. Mane Salah and firmino to start and we should win.
Can hasn't started for three games in a row now. Is Klopp sending some kind of message about the contract issue?
Annoying we didn't see out the win today. Two points against a rival could be huge at the end of the season.
If you think our capitulation was bad against Sevilla, have a look at how Dortmund got on today against Schalke. 4-0 up after 25 mins. Ended 4-4

Fair point but Stoke raise their game for the better teams.
Already took a point from Utd and beat Arsenal.
Under pressure I’m sure Hughes will go long ball and a barrage of crosses coming our way so 3 could be a way to help deal with that.
We could still play the front 3 too just leave Coutinho our who has been poor the last couple of games.
It’s just an option, we will see what Klopp does.

That was my prediction on Neo's league. Shame I've forgotten to participate pretty much every other fixture!

Yeah probably, don't like it though, a midfield of Henderson and milner.. really klopp? Really?
Sevilla came from 2-0 to win 3-2 today At least it didn't only happen to us
They are a very feisty team Sevilla.
Hard to put away.
I really hope they draw another English team in the next round as it will be a good test.
Both teams looked knackered imo.
Moreno was done by the end of the game.
I think I might have underestimated Salah's talent as well. Showed different sides to his game against Chelsea...stuff we dont see too often from him.

I thought we'd be lucky if Salah matched his Roma stats from last season. The guy has gone next level.
We've also had a great supply chain...never a natural finisher (Sturridge apart). Finally nice to have one in the team.
He'll continue to score if he stays fit imo.
Oh...and make Mane captain now!
We have been told all season by the Chelsea lot that we have an average team and need at least 4 players to challenge them. Why didn't they beat our average team that rested Mane, Firmino and Lallana?
I feel confident for the rest of the season now we have everyone fit apart from Clyne
Chelsea were average, Utd were average and Spurs don't look as lethal. City are the only team that worries me in our league.
Not even Chelsea fans on here pay attention to the opinions of Chelsea fans.
Aubameyang in January anyone?
Doubt it...unless Sturridge is certain to go and even then knowing how we've been handling business, we might wait it to out till the end of the season.
