RM have alot of rebuilding to do. They need:

new keeper - DDG - £80m
new striker - Kane - £200m
new wide player - Salah/Hazard £150m plus
new CB - Lovren - 10p

Even RM cannot afford to buy them all. My guess is that they will come hard for DDG.

That debate has been around for years though.

Michael Owen in 2002 for example.

Authorities not interested in making it less debatable because they like the controversy.

So we are stuck with this ‘contact’ limbo where it just depends on the ref on the day and VAR won’t change that.

There's rumours about Zidane leaving at the end of the season so expect them to buy big.

They haven't really spent like we're used to seeing Madrid spend for a few seasons now.

Firmino channeled his inner Lukaku yesterday. Every touch bounced off him. Very frustrating. However, I really don't get the criticism of Karius. Yesterday was the first time he's actually looked like a goalkeeper. Dealt well with a few one on ones, decent stop from Dembele, saved a pen, and only beaten by a worldie and a second pen.

How the first pen isn't offside I have no idea. Regardless of the deflection on the way, the ball was played to Kane, arrived at Kane, who then threw himself to the floor. He's offside as soon as the ball is passed.

This is what I really detest about Spurs. They're a great side to watch when things are going their way, but when they're not winning? It's all snide little kicks, faux hard man crap (Alli mostly) and diving all over the shop.

so pretty much the only contact allowed now is a slight shoulder barge, any leg contact = instant foul

Im unsure on this seemingly new rule about jumping into people to gain said contact tbh.

It's the natural progression of diving evolution.

The officials were poor all round yesterday, however a draw was the right result and we have to move on!

Does anyone know when Lallana and Clyne will be back?

These are players which could really help our season

Lallana is playing in the u23s tonight and Clyne is still rolling on e in Miami.

Yeah Salah, Kane and De Gea will be Reals top targets this summer I reckon.

Clyne was named in the Champions League squad for the KO stages so I'm guessing he's not too far off training. Hopefully he's seen the last of the pipe.

February was the date set after he successfully came through his operation so it seems it's on track if he's been included in the squad.
