Is it only months? Feels like years...

Nathaniel Clyne got another 90 mins in tonight for the U23’s.

They lost (obviously) 3-1 at Middlesbrough in the Premier League Cup.

Virtue with our goal.

Club will speed up the plans to develop the Annie Road end to being the capacity past 60k, after the huge increase in match day revenue that the mainstand has produced!

posted on 22/3/18

Annie road needs this, it really is crap

posted on 22/3/18

It also says that they’ll have someone sponsor the stand to increase revenue.

That's brilliant news.

It's for this reason that I really do not understand the vitriol that FSG get from certain supporters.

They've dragged our club from the 80s to the 21st century.

Any revamp of the ground is welcomed.

Minimum expectations from owners

United, Arsenal, City, Spurs, Chelsea & Everton soon all have similar plans with all the money top clubs make these days.

We don't need to roll a red carpet for this news.

My comment to you was mostly tongue in cheek 👍

I can’t stand politics, or to be more precise, politicians. I think those that are genuinely in it to make a difference for the good of the people get nowhere near the top end of politics. They’re all self serving egotists.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah I'd agree with that, you might characterise them as seeking power - if they wanted riches, they could probably all earn much better salaries in the private sector but they're narcissistic.

Minimum expectations for who? As people like yourself expected them to take money out of the club and not spend on new players. Instead they haven't taken money, spent huge sums on players and upgraded the stadium with plans to upgrade further. On top of that, as Fred said, they have modernised the club, in terms of the commercial side. So for people like you at least, they have far exceeded minimum expectations.

New stand was built on a interest free loan from FSG. We are paying FSG back for the stand. It's not been written off from our kind owners.

When Anfield road work starts again it will need another interest free loan.

Commercial side they have done well but again this is what modern clubs do. No one can compete with United but we are on a par or less with the rest.

But they're not taking money out of the club, and are spending money on key players, right?

That's the point, they have modernised the club, something previous owners failed to do. Also they have upgraded the stadium, something which hadn't happened in nearly a couple of decades. Interest free loan or not, they've done it.

They've exceeded your expectations as you expected much less so to say they're doing the minimum is certainly incorrect, in terms of what your expectations were.
