he had all the tools, injuries facked him up.

I'd forgotten how good Momo was at breaking up the play and giving the ball to Gerrard and Alonso to start an attack. Also forgot how woeful his passing was at distances over ten yards! Shame he had that eye injury which practically ended his career at the highest level.

Imagine that midfield with our current attack.

Better maybe but not much, and Cisse was 23 when he signed for us, the same age as Origi is now.

Cisse was a better goalscorer probably as scored a decent amount of goals everywhere he went, can’t think of anything else he was better at though.

I'll be astonished if Origi gets 250 career goals and that's without two leg breaks.

We should really do everything to bring him back regardless of the Buvac situation.

Hadn’t realised Cisse had managed 250 career goals, very impressive actually. A considerably better player than Origi imo, shame about his injuries.

Seems someone looked at Wiki and neglected to take into account the international goals he scored.

Or indeed the goals he has scored in switzerland since coming out of retirement

this is why you should never use wiki

Cisse was once our record signing following qualifying for the CL. I very much doubt that Origi will ever be a record signing for a CL side, unless he goes to the likes of APOEL.
