Is Tolisso any good? I remember him being the next big thing.

I haven't seen a Bayern game in years, not counting the Audi Cup.

I like Tolisso when he was at Lyon. Can do everything in midfield.

posted on 18/2/19

Can he do everything well though?

posted on 18/2/19

He used to...I don't know these days though. Haven't watched Bayern since Pep left them.

So... The Independent Group - thoughts?

They should trigger by-elections but they won't. Do have sympathy with Berger though, she has suffered abuse

Anyone watch the Doncaster Palace game today? Wanted to see how Kane looked against decent opposition but DIY got in the way...

Was it a good save or just a flukey block?

The best thing that could happen to this country is an anti-Brexit party - let's hope that's what this is

Don't agree with that, it's a slap in the face to people who voted out the first time. I wanted to remain before but a 2nd referendum would be horrific.

It is, but they havent left labour to pursue some nobel ideal, three of them lost CLP motions of no confidence. That means when the Next GE was triggered they would have to compete for the right to stand as Labour MP for their area by ways of a CLP ballot.

Two of the others, Umunna and Berger have had motions filed against them in their CLP, Umunna called his local members "Dogs", and the motion was prevented by the leaders office, today he claimed Corbyn has enabled a culture of bullying, despite JC saving him from the no confidence vote.

The labour leadership also squashed the Berger no confidence motions after she claimed it was anti-semitic, It was posted by a group of her constituents (including some jewish people) and accepted by her CLP executive (Also jewish). She called it anti-semitic because one of the people filing the motion had described her on twitter as a "Disruptive zionist" which while completely disrespectful, and unacceptable; is not anti-semitic, nor should it overrule the voices of the other members bringing the motion

Essentially they have all fled as an attempt to protect their seats.

Not as horrific as the unfolding realities of brexit.

I do think eventually they will be forced to have a by-election (shocked this isn't mandatory by law) and that will be extremely interesting.

Don't want a 2nd referendum, want it to be scrapped.

It's unworkable, damaging and an utter waste of our time.

The damage is certainly ramping up now Honda have just announced the closure of their swindon factory.

There is a facebook page tracking the cost of brexit (in terms of jobs and capital) last time i looked the job losses were over 250k, and that was before BMI, Honda, Toyota etc announced closures.

Add to that the flight of capital Dyson has gone, Ratcliffe, another brexiter has gone.. Rees-Mogg, Farage, Aaron Banks, Cummings all re-domiciled their money to the EU despite campaigning to leave...

I think it will be, my feeling is that peoples view's on remain/leave might have changed for a handful, but for the majority they've just become embedded.

A second vote (where it will first of all be impossible to decide the options) will be seen a treachery by leavers, and to be honest I feel the remain camp are still showing the same complacency that lost them the first and will lose them the second. Brexit happened because of values and feeling, no economic gloom will counter that in meaningful numbers.

Remember though, more people DIDNT VOTE than voted for brexit.

All analysis shows this group to be very heavily Pro-remain. Thats why Brexiteers dont want a second vote, the remain camps job for a second referendum will just be mobilising the vote.

add in the changing demographic due to deaths and young people being eligible to vote has already in theory swung the vote.
