The demographics point is quite interesting, Toynbee got a pile-on for pointing that out in a recent article. It's hard to predict though, voting fatigue can just as easily mean fewer people turnout than before.

Basically I think a 2nd referendum is a massive risk, it's like doubling-down when losing a first bet.
