Spurs seem to think they are selling Eriksen and signing Bale, Fekir and Ndombele with the money

Properly deluded bunch.

The Eriksen for Bale swap made me laugh.

posted on 21/5/19

Wow that would be a bad deal

posted on 21/5/19

I don't rate Bale as highly as almost everyone else but I love how they all fail to see that Eriksen being in the last year of his contract leaves them very little room for negotiation.

Saw one of them make a statement the winks, sissoko & Eriksen is better than our midfield earlier.

They are a very good side in fairness, but their midfield does a wholly different job to ours. You wouldn't want our players for their system and you wouldn't want their players for our system.

I mean they're not far off eachother, I still prefer ours but the only midfield better than both is City's which is their main strength. Spurs midfield is a lot more settled than ours which is a little in transition this season

Good but not even close to as good as Eriksen.

Eriksen is just the type of player we need to complete our midfield options.

posted on 21/5/19

Would be so good for us but we'd never sign him.

Not sure I agree with that.

Can anyone name their best midfield?

Sissoko, Winks and Eriksen atm I guess but Dembele has gone, Wanyama has less working legs than Heather Mills and Dier has finally found his level which is shiiiiiiiit.

I really do wish the final was last weekend. I think we wpuld have just ran them over but we've looked rammal after a break this season.

Why is it not this weekend though?

As have they to be fair.

It's an absolute drag between the end of the season and June 1st. Stupid planning as always.

posted on 21/5/19

Yeah theyve not look great after a break but they were out on their legs at yhe end of the season imo and had some injuries too.

It is what it is though and we should be beating them either way.

No I'm not sure of their best midfield either, but which is ours? I am very happy with our midfield which is very solid but I do still think it's a little workmanlike, we don't have a creative player like Eriksen in there at the moment. Imagine Keita and Ox should be adding that next season.

I’m optimistic that both Keita and Ox, particularly the former, will really kick on for us next season. Fabinho is getting better. Milner is staying another season it seems so there’s no need to add any new midfielders.

----------------------------------------------------------------------You also for some reason have forgot Windy and Hendo's attacking role?

Rumoured Departures:

Divock Origi - Besiktas
Dominic Solanke (Loan)
Alberto Moreno - Monaco
Nathaniel Clyne - Rehab
Lazar... Oh never mind

Out of date OP?

Not sure that's a fair comment, Neo was merely stating he was looking forward to two promising players kicking on next year.

Is Milner getting a new contract then? Not seen anything on it.

I’d like to think he’s earned a one year extension but maybe he’s solid on going to Leeds, if it’s premier league or not?

I’d definitely like to see Wij given an extension, think he’s had another good season.

Then there’s this on Milly, the Express say he’s got another years contract.
