Don't even know who to vote for tomorrow to be honest, absolute bunch ofs, every single one of them.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not bothering voting. As if the constituents even factor into their thinking when making decisions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then that's your foolishness.

Farage has successfully framed this as a second ref, and voter apathy on the remain side aids his cause

Secondly: you have NO RIGHT to want the referendum result overturned, for the myriad of good reasons if you refuse to engage with the european elections, and this is european elections nothing to do with westminster

Thirdly, if the referendum result is overturned you have aided the installment of MEPs who wont represent the UKs interests, a bit like UKIP, who never attended their meetings and surrended the UK voice

Finally, YOUR TAX MONEY PAYS THEIR WAGES, its a semi PR system so get out there and do what i did, lend your vote to a cause you care about, for me it was environmental, so i voted greens, they cant dictate tax policy etc from the european parliament, but they do get a say on europe wide environmental matters

Or not voting sends the message that everyone’s had enough of them and their system......

You voting Green isn’t going to change anything to do with the referendum, it’s no different to not voting.

And this election isnt about the referendum, but by not voting you allow pro brexit voters to highjack it and reduce the UKs power in europe.

Voting green does something about the environment, this is not a referendum on europe, i stressed that quite clearly in the post, i would say however that if the narrative that its support of brexit is going to be continued, the best counter to that is a high turnout for remain parties.

However no-one elected today has any power over brexit, if we do remain though, they have a huge say in the direction of europe, and the uks share in europe. Don't hand it to the likes of farage by not voting, just so he can ignore his duties as weak political protest.

European election turnouts are always low, boycotting the vote sends no message at all to the government, because its already been indicated in polling that turnout will be higher than ever.

People have no right to complain about brexit if they dont engage with european politics when it comes to election time.

=======
Hopefully there isn't one but he's been linked with a move to the likes of Newcastle, Southampton and Brighton for 25m. Derby also want to renew his loan deal.

Just blow up the earth and get it over and done with.

Universal suicide?

That's a genius idea. Take all the nukes and plant them deep in the crust to detonate at the same time. Go out with the planet.

Or just have everyone in the world jump up and down at the same time.

Prefer the nuke idea. I don't wanna jump up and down. Too much effort.

Experience is irrelevant apparently
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Depends on the wage. If it was 120k or less then I'd say 10% less for the exact same role is pushing it. Experience does come into it but not by that much.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Total rubbish. If you're less experienced you're paid less. I'm new to my team and my salary is a fair bit lower than the more experienced members of my team and rightly so - by a lot more than 10%.

I would only accept that, if there was a pathway to the higher wage everyone else had, otherwise its just wrong.

I'd be pretty fed up if I'd been doing a job for years, being paid incrementally more as I build up skills and experience for somebody to be promoted into the same role and be paid the same as me without that experience and those skills just because they are female.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I do agree people have no real right to complain about the concept of Brexit if they're not prepared to engage with Britain's participation in Europe. I do think people have every right to complain about the handling of Brexit however, irrespective of voting.

Personally I just see absolute politics fatigue and an utter mistrust that any politician voted for being in any way competent.

I've always believe that if you're eligible to vote then it's your civil duty to do so and I've lived by that for 25 years now, voting in every election. This one was by some distance the hardest to motivate myself for though and if I feel like that then I expect many won't bother. And though I disagree with them, I almost understand why. Trust is broken in British politics atm. Sad but true.

Have to agree with Fred here. Although I would expect to be paid the same, or more, if regardless of experience I was a better performer in the role. Certainly to start with I would expect to be paid less, if I was less experienced.

In fact over a year ago my manager was given the boot and I was promoted into his position but paid 10k less. I'm now a year in and despite being less experienced than he was(he's 20 years older than I am) I'm performing better than he was. They gave me a 2k payrise. That isn't cutting it so I'm looking at alternatives. I had no problem with being paid less due to experience but having now performed better than he was for over a year, I expect to be at least paid the same as he was.
