Corbyn will never be PM. As much as he's liked by certain people, he is despised by many many others.

Labour are only popular when pushed towards the right, hence that's the only way they've won an election since the 1970s.

Clyne was solid but severely lacking when it comes to the attacking third. His shooting is atrocious and he could improve on his delivery. Definitely good enough for the squad but I don't imagine at his age he wants to be a squad player when he is good enough to start for most clubs in the league.

Clyne has done great for us. Really gave us solidity at right back after the banter years of Glen Johnson. Far too good a player to never be playing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He was good and his fall from grace fairly swift (albeit coinciding with TAAs rise). Usually I don't believe rumours around players but I do wonder with Clyne.

Whatever happened it's pretty clear that Klopp doesn't fancy him at all. Not even as back up.

Brexit is anti establishment, with a split conservative vote labour will be left with the biggest majority, probably followed by the brexit party.

This country is crying out for some socialism to rebalance society, even when blair won, he ran on socialist values, he started the "all politicians lie" attitude as a result, Do you remember camerons 2010 manifesto promises? His contract? He too won on a far more leftwing manifesto than he ever delivered.

You have it completely the wrong way round.

That said, i would prefer to see labour under some other socialist leader, i think we would see a far bigger majority in a GE.

Keir Starmer would probably be my choice, With mcdonnell as chancellor, he has a great team and a lot of brilliant policies

The Torys are in a bigger mess now that at any time since the poll tax riots and Labour are still only doing marginally better than them in opinion polls. A lot of the reason for that is the unpopularity of Corbyn with the general voting public.

As someone who supports Labours it's almost depressingly funny that one of the biggest opportunities to reverse the global lean to the right has come at a time when Labour have an insanely unpopular oaf in charge. Only Labour.

I'd put my house on Corbyn getting nowhere near a majority as leader of the Labour party.

Whatever my personal feelings are on him are moot - he won't ever get in power.

Even with the shoddy Tories in the 2017 snap election, where Labour should have demolished an abysmal campaign, they got less seats than they did under Brown in 2010.

Brown was still benefiting from the Blair factor.

Snap election is just that. No time for preparation

On either side. Most of the Tory party didn't know it was coming.

They also got far more votes, and their membership since has only grown, with more and more young supporters getting to voting age.

Demographics count, and the tory demographic are dieing off.

Facking didn't mate. Delighted.

Bring on a GE.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can't wait for boris to get the job, splitting the tories in two, forced to call a GE, and their voter base splitting between the right and far right

A corbyn government, some increases in quality of life for the majority of people, a crackdown on tax evasion, cheaper utilities and a workable less punishing brexit plan, already agreed with barnier, then a peoples confirmation vote with remain on the ballot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why put remain on it? We’ve already had that one.....

this brexit thing is getting on my saggy manboobs.

A few years ago when you lot voted to leave, the pound plummeted and the KOP prize I won from this site was worth feck all in dollars by the time admin sent it.

Now, I am having to send money to RITH, and low and behold, a boost in the pound from May resigning, making it more costly for me. Getting a bit pi$$ed off with it.

Young people have always been socialist though...

If you're not socialist when you're young, you've no heart so the saying goes.
