I honestly put this down to Klopp's lack of rotation than us not having suitable options. Klopp clearly has favourites that he trusts, there's no denying this.

Sturridge started last season in much better form than Firmino and rarely got a look in.
Shaqiri played well for us in the first half of the season and still didn't play much after the Leicester game where he didn't take on that shot.
Fabinho practically forced him to change formation because the rest of our midfield was poor apart from Wijnaldum.

People want options but Klopp isn't known for his rotation...midfield? yeah...the rest are all pretty much nailed on apart from who partners Big Virg.

So Spurs look like their selling both first choice fullbacks.

Oh and some eagle eyed fooooker has noticed that the clubs twitter has removed its pinned tweet, this apparently happens just before a big announcement.

Could be that young lad with the dodgy Barnet coming from Fulham.

who else are they selling like? their def wasnt good last season anyway.

surprised no ones in for Alderweireld, they always bang on about him being the best cb ever seen, 25m buyout clause and not even Utd are interested.

Steve Nichol wants us to sign Ryan Sessegnon, not a bad shout, valued at 40m but no way will they get that from Spurs. Could wait for them to agree around half that then match them and see what happens.

Both are decent players but not RM or Barca level. There is a reason why Barca wanted Coutinho and not Eriksen. Both will probably run down there contracts now and go on a lucrative free next summer.

Toby will leave imo, Vertonghen is 32 and Lloris I can see moving on in the near future. A whole back new 5 in a short space of time is bound to affect them.

£40m is a decent amount for a very promising player,

Its just where he fits in to the team..

LB or LW...when we need to rest either Robertson or Mane.
