Mignolet wasnt good enough for us, only need a pair of eyes to see that. Great guy, great pro decent gk but not top 6 prem level thats for sure.

I agree, however I do believe he was a good shot stopper. He doesnt have the distribution required in our system and he makes too many stupid errors. Adrian would be a very good replacement.

yeah he showed pre season he can make good saves, never saw him make top top saves though that make you think how the facks he done that. His best are usually point blank reaction saves which require the luck of the shot being hit pretty much right at you so more down to positioning if anything.

I saw him make a few top saves and he is better than Alisson at penalties but yes the mistakes take away all the good work he does. You just can't have that level of mistakes at the level we're competing at. He is still good backup but he didn't want to remain as backup.

Well everybody laughed when we signed a throw in coach. We then won the CL. I'm in no doubt we went from CL finalists to winners due to the throw in coach. Revolutionaries.

After more than six special years at Liverpool, the time has come to say goodbye. It’s been an incredible honour to represent one of the biggest clubs in the world, and to achieve things that few players ever manage to achieve.

I want to take this opportunity to thank the fans (except Lamcam) for their support during the good times and the bad. I also want to thank all the coaches and managers I’ve worked with during my spell here; their knowledge and expertise has been invaluable.

I’ve shared the pitch with some fantastic players over the years, but the current squad is the best I’ve ever been a part of. I’ll never forget that night in Madrid, and I’m glad I got to share it with such a terrific group of lads.

It’s been a great ride. There have been ups, downs and everything in between, but I’ll always look back on my time at Anfield with fondness. I have no regrets – I’ve given my all, and I’ve always done my best to wear the shirt with pride, and to represent the club with dignity and professionalism.

Once part of the family, always part of the family. Deep inside I’ll always be a Red.
